| Description | The New York Clipper, April 21, 1860 lists the home grounds of many NY area clubs. The Atlantic grounds were listed as on Gates and Marcy Avenues, Brooklyn. A later grounds of the Atlantic club, the Capitoline Grounds, lasted 1864-80. It was bounded by Halsey, Marcy, Putnam and Nostrand Avenues, near the modern Brooklyn Academy at 832 Marcy (near the 1860 grounds). |
