<p>On Sept. 18 and 19, 1865 this club, the Enterprise and Lincoln clubs of Pittsburgh, and the Athletics of Philadelphia, played a baseball tournament on the "west common" (i.e. western part of the "common" of Allegheny, entered as "east common" for field listing). The Philadelphia team won easily. See New York Clipper, Sept. 30, 1865.</p>
