The Pittsburgh Daily Commercial, Aug. 9, 1866 reports that the Hygeia played the Enterprise of Allegheny. The Hygeia grounds were at Oakland Park.

Lawyer, politician, and businessman Joseph Murphy Gazzam was at one time the president of the Hygeia Base Ball Club.
