The turn of the century brought the Moorefield Club and Smith Ridge Club in 1900. Then a plethora of clubs organized in 1907: the Vevayites, the Crescents (Vevay) and the Vevay Patriots (Junior Team), Sugar Branch Club, Tapps Ridge Club, Patriot Posey Club and the Drakes Ridge Club. Clubs forming later included the Vevay Carnations (Junior Team) and the Vevay Colored Club in 1908, the Plum Creek Carnations and the Lyrics (in Vevay) in c. 1910, and the Fairview Club and the Orioles (Vevay) in 1920."
