Description

The Rockford Weekly Register-Gazette, Sept. 30, 1865, reports that the Forest City Club beat the Sinnissippi Club for the county championship, 55 to 17, and gives a box score.

The Chicago Tribune, Dec. 7, 1865, reporting on the Northwest Base Ball Convention held in Chicago that day, notes delegates attending from the Wabash of Lafayette, IN and the Sinnissippie [sic] of Rockford, IL.

The Rockford Weekly Register-Gazette, Dec. 2, 1865, reports that the Forest City, Mercantile and Sinnissippi clubs of Rockford intend to send delegates to the North West Base Ball Convention, and give the names of the delegates.

The Sinnissippi Club of Rockford IL is listed in Peverelly [1866]. Rockford is about 80 miles NW of Chicago.
