Description

The New York Clipper, Jan. 5, 1867, in an article on the 1866 baseball convention in Chicago, mentions (as attending) the Resolute Base Ball Club, made up of students of the University of Chicago. Delegates to the convention were H. A. Gardner and C. E. McQueen.

The Chicago Tribune, July 27, 1867, notes the Resolute Club of Chicago was represented at the state baseball convention.
