Description | Varnum Collins' "Princeton" p. 210 indicates this club was made up of Princeton University students, class of 1861, which played in the fall of 1857. They played under the MA rules until 1859, when the organized as the "Base Ball Club of the Class of 1862, Nassau Hall." This club became the "Nassau Club" in 1860. Circa 1864-65 the college also had the Amateur BBC and the Muffin BBC.[ba] |
