Description | The Elkhart Weekly Review, June 6, 1867 reports that the Goshen BBC played Kendalville. Game stopped after 3 innings due to rain. Same, July 25, 1867 reports that a ladies club had been formed in Kendalville. The Elkhart Review, July 25, 1867: "Base Ball--The Kendallville base ball club, and the Kekiongas of Fort Wayne, played a match game at the latter place, on the 10th inst." Fort Wayne won, 123 to 35. Kendallville is in Noble County. this may be the Jockey Club of Kendallville, mentioned in the Waterloo Press, July 16, 1868. |
