<p>A box score is given, with Logden's side defeating Revier's side 29-27. A "large number of spectators" attended.</p>
<p>The Indianapolis <em>Indiana Sentinel</em>, Nov. 7, 1865, labels this the "Great Western" BBC.</p>
<p>The&nbsp;<em>Elkhart Weekly Review</em>, April 28, 1866, reports: "The Western Base Ball Club of Indianapolis challenges any Club in this State belonging to the association of base ball players to play three games.... for the championship of the State of Indiana."</p>
