Description	W. C. Madden, "Baseball in Indianapolis" (2003), p. 7, mentions the Star City BBC of Lafayette. The Cincinnati Enquirer, July 19, 1867 reports that the Actives of Indianapolis are to play the Star City Club of Lafayette "tomorrow" for the state junior championship. Lafayette IN (1860 pop. about 9,500;1870 pop. about 13,500) is about 60 miles NW of Indianapolis.
