Description

"A game of base ball has been played in Philadelphia between the Olympics 
and the Pythians, a colored club, which resulted in favor of the former. The 
game from its novelty, as it was the first played in that city between the 
two races, drew out a large crowd of spectators."

 

Played in September 1869, it is believed to be the first game played between black and white clubs.
