Description | The Dubuque Daily Times, Oct. 12, 1870 reports that the Plow Boys played the Key City of Dubuque. The Plow Boys walked off the field in the 8th inning to protest the umpire. Same, Oct. 20, 1870 has the Plow Boys "of Rockford, Ill." playing the Waverly (IA) Stars and the Olympics of Bradford. Same Oct. 13, 1870 has them defeating the Excelsiors of Manchester 69-24. |
