Description	New York Clipper, May 11, 1867 says the Sippo club was formed April 30th. The Canton Repository, Feb. 27, 1867 reports that there will be a meeting to organize a base ball club. Same, April 10, 1867 announces meeting of he new club. Same, May 15, 1867 reports that the Stark BBC of Canton beat the Sippo of Massillon 72-25, at Massillon. Gives box score. Both teams brand new. The Canton Repository, July 24, 1867, reports that the Stark Club of Canton played the Sippo of Massillon Friday last (the 19th). Massilon OH (1860 pop. about 3,800; 1870 pop. about 5,200) is about 50 miles S of Cleveland and 8 miles E of Canton OH.
