August 26th 1864 Daily Eastern Argus

The Portland Daily Press, Sept. 5, 1864, gives the box score of a game between the Osceola and the Forest City of Portland, won by the Osceola 34-19. Same, Aug. 25, 1864, reporting the Narragansett/Osceola game (won by the Osceola 18-7) notes that the Osceola was formerly called the Rough and Ready Club. Same July 30, 1864 mentions the Rough and Ready Club are to play a city picked nine "on the grounds near the Arsenal."
