Description | Played on the Minneapolis Club's "new" grounds near the residence of Judge Atwater. Per the 1867 city directory, Judge Atwater's house was at the corner of Elm and Jackson. an 1873 map shows Jackson to be 4 blocks north of Franklin. Elm and Jackson were renamed and don't exist today under those names. The site is near the river and just north of the Franklin Ave. bridge. |
