Description	Genealogybank.com has an image of a handbill for the "Grand Ball" of the Mechanics Base Ball Club, the ball to be given Jan. 13, 1860. "S. E. Lawrence" is named the "floor manager". The handbill is datelined Worcester. The Boston Herald, June 28, 1858 announces that the Mechanics of Worcester have organized a base ball club, with Samuel Lawrence as president.
