Description	The Savannah [GA] Daily Advertiser, Dec. 28, 1870 says that on the 27th the DeSoto Base Ball Club of Lake City played the (home team) Osceolas of Jacksonville to a 13-13 tie. Same, June 29, 1871: "The De Soto Base Ball Club of Lake City terrified the Jeffersons of Monticello by a score of 63 to 11." The Charleston Daily News, Aug. 27, 1870 reports that the hometown DeSoto of Lake City defeated the Savannahs 43-35 on the 18th.
