Text | = 1864: THE CIVIL WAR DIARY OF DUDLEY LANGLEY PAGE =
33rd MA, Lowell Saturday, March 19, 1864—Warm. Fixed up things and then about 10 or 11 o’clock went went out to see the review of the 1st Brigade, 1st Division—a gay sight. But they won’t wear their white gloves much longer. I read a letter from Nellie Garland today. Col. Asmussen returned from Bridgeport this forenoon. Gilbreth and Palmer and a mess of them went out and had a game of ball this p.m. |
