Description	The Manatee River Journal, Aug. 14, 1890: "The Bradenton base ball club has been regularly organized." The Tampa Times, Sept. 27, 1902 mentions that Bartow beat the Braidentown amateurs 18-1 on the 26th. Same Sept. 27, 1903 reports that Manatee played "Bradentown" on Thursday. Bradenton (usually spelled Braidentown or Bradentown until 1925) was incorporated in 1903, and had 1,886 residents in 1910. It is the longtime minor league home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
