Description	The game was played as late as the 1940 by the Mi-kmaq tribe in eastern Canada. 'Old-fashion preserved an intriguing number of remnantsof ball-games of the pre-Knickerbocker era,including no foul ground, one out per inning, soaking (plugging), and soft, hnome-made balls. The rules were reported to be flexible.
