Description	The Rockford Weekly Register-Gazette, Sept. 1, 1866: "On Monday last an interesting game of base ball was played at Winnebago, between the Farmer's Club, of Winnebago, and the Eureka, of Pecatonica..." The article gives the box score of the game, won by Winnebago 65 to 25. The Freeport Daily Journal April 3, 1867, notes that the Stars of Freeport played the Farmers of Winnebago twice in 1866.
