Description	The Alton Telegraph, Sept. 16, 1875 reports that Springfield has 2 female bbcs, the "Diamond Garters" and the "Lace-Top Stockings." A more extensive article on this is in the Chicago Inter Ocean, Sept. 18, 1875,which reports that the two nines are the blonds and brunettes, and gives the names of the players. The uniforms are Zouave style, blue and white, and the teams intend to tour as a novelty attraction.
