The Hartford Connecticut Courant, March 29, 1866: "State matters. Two base ball clubs are to be organized in Norwalk."

One of these was the Liberty Club, which played the Monitors of Westport in 1866, per Morris et al., "Base Ball Pioneers, 1850-1870" p. 36.
