Description	The Carolina Military Institute existed from 1873-82. It had spacious grounds where numerous games were played. The grounds were said to be in the "suburbs." Perhaps different grounds fsrom those of the 1859-61 NC Military Institute, which has a historical marker at 109 East Jones.
