Description

The St. Charles Chronicle, Feb. 2, Nov. 28, 1902 sys the Olympian Club of St. Charles was formed in 1867, and names several of the players, including Tom Clark, Eugene Brownell, and other CW veterans.

The St. Charles Valley Chronicle, July 5,1889, April 24, 1896 says the Olympians were formed in 1867, with Dr. S. E. Weld as president. They played a game with Batavia "in the then open space west of the west side school building."
