"Baseball: The Story of Iowa's Early Innings," Annals of Iowa (1941) 625-654 reports that Sioux City, West Union, Fredericksburg, Fayette, Waukon, Pottawatomie, Lansing and Algona had baseball clubs in 1868.

The Lansing Mirror, July 7, 1868 mentions a club of Lansing. This may be the Occidental BBC, which see.
