Description

The Shepherdstown Register, Oct. 3, 1868 reports that the Star of Martinsburg beat the Old Dominion of Charles town 50-17.

Said to number 25 men in 1866. Arthur W. Hawks, President, Major J. W. Hawks, honorary member. Major J. W. Hawks (1813-73) was on Stonewall Jackson's staff during the CW. Arthur Wells Hawks (1847-193) was his son.
