Description | Base Ball Match
The match game of base ball, between the New Dominion Club of Ottawa, and the Ogdensburg Club of this city, played here on Friday afternoon, resulted in an easy victory for Ogdensburg, the score standing 53 for Ogdensburg to 19 for New Dominion.
Olds' Band escorted the Clubs to and from the ground. At eight in the evening the Clubs, together with a number of invited guests, sat down to supper at the Seymour House. After duly discussing the edibles a few hours were spent in reading of toasts, responses, song and sentiment and a general good time enjoyed. Everything passed of in the best of style.
