| Description | The Lone Star Club of Rochester was announced in August 1858. It won the city championship in 1860 in a July contest with the Live Oak Club. Undefeated, the club played the Niagara Club of Buffalo for the championship of Western New York state in September. The Rochester club prevailed, 32-10.
