The Buffalo Commercial, Sept. 2, 1868 reports that the International BBC of Fort Erie, Canada defeated the Citizen Hook and Ladder Co. No. 2 of Buffalo, 23-18.

The Buffalo Daily Courier, July 2, 1868 reports on a baseball game between two Canadian clubs at Fort Erie, on Dominion Day (July 1). The Kingston British Whig, July 8, 1868, reports that the International Club of Fort Erie beat the Frontier Club of Black Rock, US, at Fort Erie on Dominion Day (July 1).

Fort Erie is opposite Buffalo, NY. It had 835 residents in 1871.
