Description	Thomas Duckett Boyd (1854-1932, later president of LUS) recalled that as a boy in Wytheville, he played and fell in love with baseball. Educated at the LA Seminary 1868-70, he returned to Wytheville and briefly played on that town's Modoc BBC.
