Description	Gadsden Times October 8, 1869, says the Gadsden Etowahs played the Talladega Peabody Club at Jacksonville. The Selma Morning Times, Oct. 9, 1869 reports that the Peabody won, 101-54. Jacksonville AL (pop.about 12,500)is about 65 miles E of Birmingham and about 40 miles from the Georgia border. It is about 20 miles SE of Gadsden and 30 miles NE of Talladega.
