Description	The Fort Worth Daily Gazette, July 7, 1889, has a story from Iowa Park, TX, about how the hometown Iowa Park baseball "Panhandlers" defeated the Wichita Falls team 34-28 on July 4th. Wichita Falls was founded in 1872, and the railroad reached there in 1882. It is probable baseball was played there prior to 1889.
