Description | The Helena Independent Record, April 20, 1883, reports that Glendive has organized a base ball club. Glendive played Miles City in 1886. See the Yellowstone Journal, June 29, 1886. It possessed a "female baseball club" in 1884. See Browning, Montana Baseball History" p. 23. Glendive (inc. 1902) had a population of 500 in 1880 and 720 in 1890. |
