Location Seattle, WA, United States
Modern Address 6009 Airport Way
Description

Site of games 1877 and later. The Dawanish race track existed 1869-78 on land in modern Georgetownn rented from the Luther Collins family. The racetrack was revived 1883-92 as the Seattle Driving Park. The Meadows Race Track (1903--) is situated a mile or two south.

The 1890 Seattle Directory sites the Claussen-Sweeney Brewing Company and the Park Hotel as near or opposite the driving park. This would place the track near 6009 Airport Way.
