The Prescott Weekly Journal Miner, Jan. 15, 1875, mentions the Independence BBC of Camp Lowell. Camp (Fort) Lowell is/was on the outskirts of Tucson.

Tucson was the Territorial Capital 1867-77. It had 7,007 residents in 1880.
