Description

The New York Clipper, Oct. 3, 1868, reports a recent game at Camp Cooke, Montana Territory, between 2 teams of soldiers.

Camp Cooke is also known as Fort Claggett. Established 1866, at the junction of the Missouri and Judith Rivers, in what is now Fergus County. Abandoned 1870.
