The Buffalo Morning Express, Oct. 3, 1868 reports that yesterday at Lockport, the Citizen Hook and Ladder Co. No. 2 Club of Buffalo lost to the De Witt Clinton No. 2 of Lockport.

Presumably the Clintons were also a volunteer fire company.
