Humber, "Diamonds of the North," p. 105, , mentions a 1904 game "on the Queen's birthday" between "a team from Skagway, Alaska and the Yukon town of Whitehorse." Whitehorse won 10 to 9. Whitehorse also won the return match, played at Skagway July 4th.
