<p>The Daily Missouri Democrat, July 18, 1860 says the Empire played the Morning Star at the corner of 27th and Biddle. Jeff Kittle's blog on St. Louis baseball says this club played at/near Carr Place, on the west side of Ham, south of Chouteau. [ba]</p>
