The base ball nine of Co."G," 1st Cavalry, hereby challenge any nine in the city or Territory, to a game of base ball at Boise City, I. T., on the 23rd inst., for general amusement. Send communications to Captain, base ball club, Co. "G," 1st Cavalry, Fort Boise, I. T. '"`UNIQ--pre-00000007-QINU`"' Historical note: Please note there were at least two other clubs in 1868 and 1869. According to the editors of the Idaho Statesman, however, there is 'no other base ball club in Boise City' by 1878. |
