Description | Undated, but appears in the game books after the Thanksgiving game in 1848 and before the game of April 26, 1849. As Cartwright appears in the line up (scoring two runs and making no outs), it has to be November 1848 and not an earlier date in 1849 as Cartwright had left for California in March of that year. That makes this the last game in which the sole Knickerbocker currently in the Hall of Fame appeared in with his pioneering team. |
