Description	See Peverelly, page 113. The New York Clipper, Dec. 22, 1866 has this club sending S. H. Funderberg and R. Shriver as delegates to the national convention. The Baltimore Sun, Feb. 21, 1867, has an article on the MD state baseball convention and lists the clubs sending delegates. Among these was the Alert Club of Cumberland.
