Biography

A Riley Williams died in Nashville in 1935, aged 78. He would have been born in 1857, making him nine years old at the time of this incident.

It is not clear whether BBBBBC was an actual club, or merely an informal group of players saddled with a sarcastic moniker in a local newspaper. He was fined $9 for playing base ball on the sabbath.
