Text	[from an interview of Von der Ahe] after having looked the ground over, I have about concluded that a trip to Australia would be a better one than a trip to England. The winters there are open and we could play the game all the season around. My idea would be to start from here at the close of the regular season, visiting the leading cities of the South and Mexico, and then go on to San Francisco, stopping a various points en route.
