Text | Spalding’s Automatic Umpire’s Indicator is the name of a little apparatus just brought out by A.G. Spalding & Bros. of Chicago. It is convenient in size, works automatically, and is a great assistant to umpires in keeping an accurate record of balls and strikes. Dick Higham, John Kelly and other prominent League umpires pronounce it just the thing, we are informed. |
