Text	[reporting on the UA meeting] It is now a settled fact that the Union Base-Ball Association will confine its operations entirely to the West next season, and that six good cities, if not eight, will comprise its membership. … The cities represented at the meeting to-day [12/18] were Cincinnati, St. Louis, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Kansas City. .. Another city was represented by proxy, but in obedience to the request of the President the name will not be made public until a later date.
