Text	Under the able and most gentlemanly management of the President, Mr. William C. Ewing, the Quaker city club is increasing in power daily. New members pour in upon them, and the Treasury is in a comfortable condition of fullness. This club is determined to maintain an unimpassioned and genteel deportment on and off the field. The mere winning or losing of a game is to them of little moment. Certainly they would not lie and cheat to maintain their supremacy. Some other clubs may well emulate the Quaker City.
