Text | We are sorry to notice that McBride persists in the “ignorant” practice of calling the catcher up under the bat, when two strikes have been made, and there is nobody on the base. A little reflection would show him the absurdity of this notion. However, he was ever wrong-headed and stubborn in this particular. |
