Text | The new nine now being organized in Philadelphia, Pa., by H. B. Phillips and Al Reach will be known as the Philadelphia Club. It was refused admission to the American Association, but it is said that Phillips and Reach will try their fortunes with the League Alliance, in the hope to have the monopoly of games in Philadelphia with the League clubs. |
